Now you’re probably wondering – why does a blog need to be explained? Clearly the careinnovators blog is riveting enough for you to continue reading, but is there more to it? Yes, there is!

We want to profile interesting start-ups, the policies and laws that affect them, and resources to help them succeed. Our posts often consolidate news from longer posts – links are always included for additional reading. We’re not the site for breaking news or constant updates on the Obama health care plan; there are plenty of great health care blogs with excellent analyses and amazingly detailed information, and each fills a niche. We even compiled a list for you here in our Resources section.

But wait – there’s more! We want to be inclusive and accessible (that means understandable and readable) to people not associated with health care. Health care is often a closed industry – despite its widespread impact, people outside the industry often view health care as too complicated or generally unwelcoming. We want to change that – by sharing fascinating innovations in health care, any reader can be interested and feel more involved with the industry.
