The Corporate Physician Leadership Center is dedicated to helping every physician in a business setting become a more effective manager and leader.
The training and experiences that a physician receives to become successful a medical practitioner does not prepare him or her to be successful in a corporate environment. The transition from working in a clinical setting to working in a business setting can be difficult and frustrating. The Corporate Physician Leadership Center helps physicians succeed as business managers and leaders more effectively and smoothly.
Some of the skills which the Center develops in physician leaders are political savviness, leading of non-medical teams, and strategic and business thinking. The Center also provides a forum for fellow physician leaders to discuss and address issues of relevance to their working in a business environment.
