What We Do and Why It Matters
KineMed applies highly innovative techniques to the study of biological processes in living organisms, increasing the effectiveness of pharmaceutical Research & Development and enabling a greater flow of superior medicines for lower costs.
We help many pharmaceutical partners generate new medicines and are generating our own focused pipeline of potential best-in-class medicines.
We use stable isotopes to delve deeply into key biological processes in animals and man to rapidly generate crucial insights into health, disease, and drug actions. These insights can overcome two of the major challenges confronting the successful creation of new medicines:
* Translation: (1) Effectively interpreting and applying pre-clinical observations to advance Drugs in the clinic and (2) intelligently using clinical observations to work on the right Drugs in the laboratory
and
* Personalization: Appropriately detecting and adapting to the heterogeneity of particular diseases or patients to get the right Drugs into the appropriate patients at optimized doses to produce the best outcomes.
