Prolight is a diagnostics company, and together with technology partners The Technology Partners (TTP) to develop a micro-chemistry-based system to measure inflammation markers in the first instance in patients suffering a heart attack.
With Prolight method due to a diagnostic system to be developed that will allow the tests which in a few minutes provides an answer to whether a patient has suffered a heart attack or not. Today’s technology is usually significantly longer response times causing unnecessary suffering and high costs for society and the individual. Myocardial infarction is now the leading cause of premature death throughout the Western world so that the total costs associated with heart attacks, for society and individuals is astronomical.
