Genome sequencing has rapidly moved from costing a million dollars to sequence a human genome in 2007 down to close to $1,000 today. With the practicality of costs has come enormous amounts of data available for analysis to drive the development of more personalized medicine by predicting disease risk and more effectively treating devastating diseases such as Parkinson’s, Cancer and ALS.
