At GE and Science we believe in rewarding the best young scientists from around the world.
This is why we want to hear from you if you’ve been awarded a Ph.D. in molecular biology in 2008.

Submit a 1,000 word essay on your work before August 1, 2009, and you could be the winner of the prestigious GE & Science Prize for Young Life Scientists. There are also four regional prizes awarded for North America, Europe, Japan and the rest of the world. The winners will:

  • fly to Stockholm for the award ceremony
  • meet the Nobel Laureates in Medicine
  • have their Ph.D. profiled in the online version of Science
  • receive $25,000 (Grand Prize winner) or $5,000 for the regional prize winners
