We are proud to announce the Health Impact Award, which we will grant to the organizations and individuals making the biggest impact on the lives of patients and other people in their fields. We will contact the selected organizations and individuals, before we announce them to the public. We very much welcome the input of our community in honoring leading health organizations and individuals. If you know of a group or person who you feel is worthy of such a distinction, please send us and email to HealthImpactAward [at] wellsphere [dot] com.
Here are the criteria that our HIA Committee considers when it determines who will be the recipients of the Health Impact Award in their respective fields:
• Provide support for patients (emotional and physical)
• Conduct or support basic and applied research
• Improve accessibility and affordability of care
• Raise awareness of significant health issues
• Promote prevention and proactive care
• Provide and support education (patients and caregivers)
• Drive and inspire innovation
